Good evening everybody, my name is Max and I'm from Milan, Italy.
As I'm long time MSTS user, with skills in object, trains and route building,
I'm always interested in Train Simulators in general, and I gave a look to
Zusi since its beginning even if until today I've only tryied the demo
version.

I came here today after having seen last videos of Kuju's new simulator,
that seems pointing more to Trainz than to what I'm interested in: real
train simulator...

Probably Zusi3 will be my future, and maybe the future of my project:
because I'm a Rhb fun, it's from a couple of years that I'm building the
entire Rhb Bernina railway for MSTS ( http://www.rhatischebahn.tk is forum
where you can give a look to some screens... ), this means too that I own
original 3D models of many station and trains, since I usuallu work with 3D Canvas.

My question for today, since unfortunately I don't speak already deutsch,
is if Zusi3 will be able to simulate even narrow gauge tracks, and maybe
Rhb sistem of signals and double slip switch.

Thanks a lot, however I think it's time for me to start learning deutch,
as a 28 mechanical engineer it's always goof to know one language more... :D

kinly regards,
Max

Hello, MC and welcome to our community. We always appreciate new 'faces' wherever they may come from and especially if they are willing to bring in their talents. :)

About your questions:
It is absolutely no problem to build tracks of any gauge you want in Zusi. If you want, you can build one line with narrow gauge and another with normal gauge in one scenery, even three-rail-tracks are possible.
I haven't seen any in Zusi, yet, but I'm very sure that double-slip switches are possible in Zusi, too. Same is for Rhb signals. :)

yes, yes, yes ;)

btw: Roland, Carlos and me have begun discussing a MSTS->Zusi3-route-converter. We don't know if there will be a reasonable way of conversion at the moment. (but that would make it a lot easier for you - and a concrete route-projekt will give us an exra-motivation)

Hello Max and welcome.

You have done some nice work with MSTS.

I think you will like Zusi as it simulates a real railway very well, you must buy the full version.

@Carsten:
in this case, since I've got a deep conoscence of MSTS route file, feel free to contact me for any question.

@all:
Thank you so much for your welcome, at this stage I think that the best thing for me is to go on building objects, since it seems they will be 100% exportable from 3DC to Zusi.
During this time I will probably learn some deutch visiting sometimes this forum.

In tha attached image, Miralago north exit.

Kindly regards,
Max

Your RhB looks superb! Is this part of the SimTrain Bernina line due for release shortly, or an independent project.

The possibility of converting MSTS routes to Zusi 3 is highly exciting, though of course we would definitely need a save game facility to undertake some of the longer runs!
