Building Back from the Start Point
Building Back from the Start Point
I'm currently considering a number of simple route projects for Zusi but both of these are sections of a through line rather than one end being a terminus. If the project was successful, is it possible to build backwards from the route start point or is that always a finite point beyond which you cannot go? For example, I might build the route from my local station Bridgend to Cardiff. However Bridgend is halfway between Swansea and Cardiff so at some point I would possibly want to add Swansea to Bridgend. The same factor could still apply if I made the route in reverse and started at Cardiff, later on I might want to add Newport to Cardiff.

no problem at all. You should create the moduls in UTM-coordinates, then their position is defined in global coordinates (Ziegler-Tools).
You should devide your routes into modules with about one station per module. The editor becomes slow, when you try to work with a complete route, but modules are no problem.
